Conversion Diary

This is the van when I bought it on the 20th of may 2003,   And this is what she looked like on the 22nd of February 2004

And this is me and Sam, the one's who will be converting her.

15/04/03 17/04/03 24/04/03 28/04/03 14/05/03 25/05/03 31/05/03 Wrecked Engine 30/06/03 22/08/03 16/11/03 30/12/03 28/02/04 11/03/04
The top 2 rows of links cover the 10 months the van was a panel van, and the 'fun' I had with the engine blowing, getting it sorted out, beginning to get things sorted out for the body to be built etc, After the 30/12/03 entry, the pages are of the actual conversion from the empty shell to the fully fitted Motorhome.

Latest entry: Been working like mad on the van over the past few weeks, the latest entry covers most of building of the bathroom area and installation of side marker led lights.

On the following pages, I have basically put into words what's happened in the course of buying the iveco, finding a Coachbuilder, replacing the engine 2 weeks after buying the van, getting the engine sorted out properly, taking the van up to have it's body built, then I finally get to the building of the motorhome in 2004.

I guess these pages are my van's blogg really, I go into quite a bit of detail, but any technical bits where I want you to be able to do the same as I've done to your own van if you wish will be covered over on the Kamper Tech pages, where loads of photo's and sometimes quite technical details will be shown.
